October loves!

I had great ideas to make this much better, get my SLR out, take amazing pictures, and yada yada... but tonight, I was on the tube coming home from work and I couldn't stop having racing, creative thoughts about starting my blog up again. I got home and couldn't find my camera charger or usb lead for it, and thought darn it, I just want to make a post!

I have lots of things I wanted to share which I have been especially loving more than usual this october... but here are just some quick photos I took on my ipad as soon as I got home because I couldn't wait to share any longer :) bare in mind, I'm not a beauty queen, beauty guru, and I definitely love cheap steals and a good bargain when it comes to make-up!

What are you loving this october? Share any similar blog posts you have posted so I can check them out :)

<3~ new hair colour!... I dyed my hair dark! It has been red... to then light red, to then light brown, and then I dyed the ends lighter trying to achieve the ombre fade. I decided for winter I was going to dye it darker! I'm normally never scared of dying my hair, I've been dying it every colour under the sun since i was 13 and have always been a little bit addicted... but tbh, I have been loving having gingery/brown hair lately and it's kind of sad to see it go, but I think it will suit me better for the winter.

<3~ my autumn bag...what can i say, i like to recycle my favourites... i purchased this last fall from forever21 and I dragged it out of the closet last month to start using it for this fall & winter. I just love the tapestry feel and look and I think it looks great with jumpers, thick tights and boots for this season. It's so cute and I always find I need bigger bags for fall/winter as I carry layers, lip balms, hand creams... etc.

<3~ jumpers!... this jumper always looks a different colour in every photo, I swear! I got this from H&M because I thought it looked like a christmas tree :X it's so warm and I like to throw it in my bag for the chillier evening weather. It got it 2 sizes bigger than my regular size because I like my jumpers big and snuggly. :)

<3~ this beaut is from bershka... I fell in love with the studded shoulder pads. It's very thick and cable knit, I love it.

<3~ fall lipstick... I have been wearing this throughout october and have not really been wearing any other lipstick. It is much darker and nude than usual which I think is perfect for this season. It is glossybox lipstick in "glossy pink" ... probably the worst name they could give to be honest, doesn't suit the colour at all in my opinion.

Revlon colourstay mineral finishing powder, bourjois mineral matte foundation, vera valenti eyeshadow palette, L.A colors nail lacquer in metallic copper, models own nail varnish in pink fizz, glossybox lipstick in glossy pink, revlon nail varnish in 17 cloud, BB cream by pure.

<3~ rest of my favourites... this post was already long, so I just went ahead and took a picture of everything. If you have any review request for any of these products just let me know. Many of them are not "in" or popular right now... but I know what I like, and some of these were found on offer/for a great bargain and turned out to be amazing products and now one of my favourites! For this month I have been loving all the products above, but I will spotlight three!

- Revlon colorstay mineral finishing powder in 030 sunkiss radieux. I use this to contour & the sheer is lovely, it applies really well, is very buildable, and I have been loving it to fall into autumn with as opposed to using my pinky-blushers and glowy pink blushers that I use in summer.

- Bourjois Paris mineral matte mousse foundation in 83 sable. I got this from a market stall from Brick Lane <3 (any londoners will know how amazing brick lane sunday markets are, and you can get some amazing make up steals! new popular products and just about everything else!). I found it among a "pick and mix" basket of make-up, for only £1 and it came with a brush so I thought why not? Though very small in size, and I have always been iffy about mousse foundations since I used to be addicted to matte mousse foundations when I was a teenager and just started using make-up... I thought it looked great when in fact, it didn't. I am prone to dry skin so matte mousse dries out those areas especially my cheeks where I have blemishes, dry spots and big pores. So, dry mousse make up on these problem areas? Not good. I'd heard good things about this on review sites though, and, to my amazement, the reviews were right. :) This mousse is the most lightest matte mousse foundation I have ever used. It applies quickly, with a medium coverage though is definitely buildable, is creamy, does not dry out my skin and in fact makes it look like I have applied a good BB cream or moisturizer before hand.  It's great for lazy days when you suddenly have to pop out to the shops or go grocery shopping, or for when you wake up and you're running late. It makes me face look flawless just from a light brush all over my face with the one provided. I highly recommend it. You can find it online for a couple of quid.

- Pure BB cream daily all in one blemish balm in light. I have been using BB creams for a while and haven't started using them lately just because of the new found hype. I used to have acne when I was younger and it scared me about using make up for a while... I found tinted moisturizers to be the best thing for when I had raw, bad skin which definitely didn't want to be caked over with high coverage foundation. I would say, thankfully, that my skin is fine now, and I definitely don't need high coverage foundation. I have been swearing by GOSH bb cream for... around 6 months now, but when I popped into Savers (a very, very cheap cosmetics/tolietries/etc., store) and I saw this for £1.99 I knew I would try it, I have been using and loving Pure for years, the make up wipes are amazing, and they are fantastic for sensitive skin (which I have). This BB cream is... one of the best beauty finds I have found in the past... 5 years. And I'm being totally honest. My boyfriend thinks I've gone nuts because the first time I tried it I was ranting about it so much, and every time I use it, I always go "wow! I just love this..." and talk about it for, well, a while, lol. I want to recommend it to everyone who wants to try a BB cream and is looking for something that is perfect for sensitive skin, is light in coverage, the fluid itself is very light, it applies like a good moisturizer, works as a very light coverage foundation, whilst giving me a very healthy glow. I have since been back to Savers and bought 4 boxes of this.
